Welcome, we’re so glad you’re here!

Here at SOAR, there’s so much you can do! We’ve created these step by step instructions to make joining SOAR a breeze, or you can always contact our Member Support Specialist, Chris, with any questions.

Adult Programs

When you’re ready to sign up for your first activity, follow the steps below!

Please Note: SOAR Memberships are available, but you are NOT required to be a member to participate in SOAR programs. Members do receive additional benefits, including lower activity rates. For more information, check out our membership page! 

Step 1:

All participants in SOAR programs must fill out two forms:

1. Participant Handbook- This must be signed once and can be done online! Sign Participant Handbook Here

2. Participant Information Form (PIF)- This must be filled out every year to ensure we have the most up-to-date information on our participants! Download the form here and return to the office in person, mail or via email.

Step 2:

Check out our current activities:

Our monthly newsletters are the best place to find all of our upcoming activities! Paper newsletters are mailed on the second Thursday of the month, and sent electronically the following Monday.

Step 3:

Register for activities:

1. Online– Register for activities online via our Jotform.

2. In Person/Mail– Register for activities by filling out this form and sending it via mail, bringing in-person to the office, or emailing Chris

3. Phone– Register for activities by calling the SOAR Office: (920) 731-9831 Please note: We will NOT accept registrations via voicemail.

*Many of our activities reach maximum capacity each month. We are working to increase our offerings and capacities! Registering as close to the newsletter release as possible is recommended. We also create a waitlist for full programs, and you can be added to be contacted in case of cancellations.

Step 4:

Pay for activities:

You can pay for SOAR activities through card online, cash, check, or third-party payer!

Paying with Cash or Check:

  • Stop by the SOAR office or mail payment to: SOAR Fox Cities, 211 E Franklin St. STE A. Appleton, WI 54911. Please include participant name and list of activities you are paying for.

Paying With Card:

  • If registering via Jotform, you can select “Pay with Card Now” and will be redirected to enter your credit card information after hitting submit.
  • Click here to pay online with card for activities registered for via other methods! Please include the participant name and activities in the “Payment Description”, and enter the total amount due in the “Price per Item”.

Special Signups

Some programs require additional paperwork or alternate registration forms. See below for more information on signing up for our special programs!

Special Olympics:

SOAR offers seven sports to athletes ages 8 and older! We currently offer Basketball, Aquatics, Track and Field, Bocce, Softball, Tee-Ball, and Bowling. 

Registrations for each sport are sent out in the member newsletter prior to each season. To get involved in SOAR Special Olympics, please fill out the form below and include your athlete’s name, age, and the sport(s) they would like to join. Special Olympics Coordinator Jen Kalishek will follow up with all additional paperwork needed and information about when registration for your selected sports opens!

Camp Program:

SOAR offers two overnight camps, Camp Onaway for campers 14+ and Fall Weekend Camp for campers 18+.

Camp applications can be requested from our Director of Adult Services LeeAnn Stein via email or (920) 731-9831 x112. Camp Onaway applications are available at the beginning of the year, and Fall Camp applications are available in summer.

SOAR Thru Summer:

SOAR thru Summer offers nine weeks of daily activities that ensure fun, safe, and enriching days for youth entering 6th grade through age 18!

SOAR thru Summer utilizes a best-fit application process rather than first come first serve basis. Any youth interested should fill out our online application and will be notified via mail in mid-April. For more program information and application link, click here. Evolve Transition Days:

Evolve offers fun educational and philanthropic activities that encourage young adults (18-23) to build real-world skills and explore new or current areas of interest with friends for nine weeks of summer!

Evolve utilizes a best-fit application process rather than first come first serve basis. Any young adults interested should fill out our online application and will be notified via mail in May.
