SOAR Thru Summer- Personal Supports
Everyday Adventures for Teens of All Abilities
SOAR thru Summer Personal Supports provides unique, small-group, community-based
activities for youth with differing abilities who require 1:1 support for personal cares, elopement, or overall safety. Youth enjoy fun activities, skills-based learning, and field trips in the community throughout summer!
Personal Supports accommodates three participants daily with a 1:1 staff-to-student ratio. Youth can participate from the summer entering sixth grade through their 18th birthday and must have increased needs that would preclude them from participating in other group programs with lesser supervision.
- Education: Communication, Laundry, Cooking, Teamwork, Community Navigation, Financial Literacy!
- Field Trips: Museums, Parks, Art Studios, Nature Preserves, Arcades, Mini Golf, Bowling!
- Fun: Games, Snacks, Crafts, Water Days, Reading, Sports, Messy Days, and more Shenanigans with friends!
2026 Details
- June 15-August 19
- Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm (Drop off and Pickup can be flexible within this timeframe)
- Rates: $2,441.25/week
- Location: Madison Middle School (2020 S. Carpenter St., Appleton)

*We are unable to serve youth with aggressive or harmful/dangerous behaviors
Registration
SOAR thru Summer Personal Support utilizes a best-fit application process rather than first-come, first-serve basis. Any youth interested should complete the steps below, and will be notified via mail in mid-April.

**Please Note: Even if your child is not selected for every week listed in your application, they may still have the opportunity to attend. If there is an opening as the summer progresses due to increased capacity or cancellation, you may be contacted and offered any weeks that are not full!

Late Pickups will be charged $15 per every 15 minutes late starting 1 minute after 6pm. We reserve the right to bill third party funders.
