Camp Volunteer Opportunities

SOAR Fox Cities provides camping experiences for youth and adults with developmental disabilities. Volunteers are a vital part of SOAR’s Camp Program. Volunteer counselors assist campers as needed. (Each camper is unique in their abilities and independence – Some campers may need help dressing appropriately for weather, need reminders to brush their teeth, assistance cutting food, or help following the camp schedule.) Counselors also help support camper’s involvement in camp activities like arts & crafts, boating, fishing, games, music, nature, swimming & more! Please note the age requirement for Camp Counselors is 16 years old.

NEW & RETURNING VOLUNTEERS are asked to first complete our Volunteer Registration Form which can be completed online. After submitting the Volunteer Registration Form, SOAR will conduct a background/reference check and follow-up with you with additional details.
