WisconSibs: Sibling Support
Sibling Support Programs at SOAR Fox Cities
The WisconSibs Program fosters a community of support and understanding for siblings of people with disabilities by providing education, programs, and advocacy that enhance their lives. We know that for most, the sibling journey is lifelong, beginning in childhood. We are proud to support our young siblings with information, opportunities for emotional support and sharing, and leadership guidance to advocate for their needs and the needs of their brothers and sisters with disabilities!
Sibs Are My Peeps Photo Contest!
We’re SOARing to New Places- and bringing a favorite tradition with us!
💙
As SOAR begins this exciting new chapter following our merger with Wisconsibs, we’re thrilled to continue the beloved Sibs Are My Peeps Photo Contest as an annual tradition. 🐣📸
This year’s theme, “SOARing to New Places,” celebrates the journeys (big and small) that families take together. Whether it’s trying something new, exploring a new place, or growing in new ways, show us how you are soaring!

Sibshops
Year-Round Activities for Siblings Ages 6-12
Sibshops are lively, play-based workshops where kids, ages 6-12, who have siblings with disabilities come together for fun, friendship, and learning. Through games, creative activities, and guided conversations, participants build emotional awareness, practice communication skills, and learn age-appropriate ways to understand disability and their siblings’ needs. Each session blends high-energy play with opportunities to reflect, share experiences, and grow confidence as a sibling. We are proud to be a registered Sibshop provider for over 25 years. Sibshops are guided by a trained facilitator (school psychologists, teachers, counselors or adult siblings, for example) in small, age-appropriate groups. All are trained in sibling issues, and always keep an eye open for participants who may need additional support.
WisconSib Summer Programs

WisconSibs summer programs offer siblings a place to learn, grow, and have unforgettable summer fun. Whether through day camp adventures, overnight experiences, or teen leadership opportunities, each program blends high-energy activities with meaningful learning about disability, communication, and the unique role siblings play in their families. Campers build friendships, practice problem-solving and teamwork, and gain confidence in a supportive community of peers who “get it.” From SibDays to SibCamp to the Teen Sib Leadership Retreat, our summer programs create space for siblings to explore their strengths, celebrate who they are, and return home with new skills and lifelong memories.
